This site is designed for Advanced Placement United States Government and Politics students at Turner Ashby High School and several area high schools. The purpose of the site is to have students post comments and positions to a variety of articles, statements, problems, or questions that will be posted each week during the school year relating to the area of government under study at the time. Students are encouraged to challenge and engage the posted comments. All comments will be filtered and screened and some will not be allowed for posting. All readers and users of this site are asked to read "Commenting Rules" prior to commenting. Students and parents are also asked to read and accept the Rockingham County Public School Policy on Acceptable Use for Electronic Services and Networks.
Students will be required to post comments each week and must use factual information when posting. Students are also reminded that they should demonstrate respect for each other and should in no way, attempt to degrade or belittle any other posters on this site. Disagreement is quite acceptable, but please do not be disagreeable. Being different is also acceptable, but indifference to others is not acceptable etiquette.
